WMAS has deliberately chosen the neutral and universal term of Suryoye for our people and the terms of Suryoyo for our language. WMAS strongly wants you to feel included in these designations regardless of the different names of our people, such as Arameans, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Maronites, Melkites, and Syriacs (listed here in alphabetical order).
